FreshCheck is an in-store shopping companion. Point your camera at produce to get a freshness estimate, compare value, keep a “My Fridge” inventory, and learn food literacy — with GEM rewards for learning. It is designed especially for seniors and value-minded families, with a food-waste-reduction goal woven in.
1. Scan
Point the camera at produce, labels, or receipts. FreshCheck highlights the freshest picks and the best value.
2. My Fridge
Save what you bought; get use-it-before-it-spoils reminders and shopping lists.
3. Learn
Short food-literacy lessons (freshness, storage, nutrition) earn GEM.
4. Check nutrition
Scan produce to see a nutrition profile.
What GEM is. GEM is a reward point earned only through learning and genuine participation. It cannot be purchased with cash, cannot be exchanged or withdrawn for cash or crypto, and cannot be transferred between users ("three gates closed"). GEM has no cash value and is not a cryptocurrency, security, or investment.
